Newcastle United Museum: TV Tour Part One
NEWCASTLE United's new club museum is proving a popular visitor attraction at St. James' Park - and, courtesy of Newcastle World TV, we're giving you a glimpse behind the scenes.
In this section, club historian Paul Joannou takes you through the early displays, including Pioneers To Masters, which charts the formation of Newcastle United as the city's East End and West End clubs merged. The display includes an impressive haul of FA Cup and Championship medals as the Magpies emerged as one of the leading clubs in the Edwardian era.
Paul takes you on to Between The Wars, featuring great medals and momentoes from the 1926-27 title-winning season plus the FA Cup Finals of 1924 and 1932. And finally in this section, we move on to War and Peace, where items on display include the match programme from our club record 13-0 victory over Newport in 1946.
