Newcastle United Women's First Team reached the Quarter-Final of The FA Women's Cup, only falling short of the semis in a 9-8 penalty shoot-out with Liverpool. The team ended their first season in the Northern Premier Division in a creditable 8th position.
Last weekend Newcastle Women rounded off a great season by lifting the first YES International Women`s Cup, finishing the tournament at the top of a mini league of 4 teams, including Barcelona, Liverpool, and Gateshead Academy.
With the team built on solid, self-supporting foundations, we can all look forward with confidence to next season, and continued success.
