NEWCASTLE United Juniors were unlucky not to get their first win of the season as Everton's lethal finishing saw them run-out 4-2 winners at the club's Little Benton Academy.

The Magpies took an early lead when England Under-17 star Ryan Donaldson turned in Mark Doninger's centre from close range in the 5th minute.

The Toffees were level within two minutes, Lewis Coding getting by keeper Mark Cook before seeing his effort end up in the via a post despite Alex Francis' best efforts to block the shot on the line.

And the visitors had the lead ten minutes later as a swift break ended with Jose Baxter lobbing United stopper Cook.

The black and whites were still enjoying the better of the game and Dutch forward Frank Wiafe Danquah saw a couple of half-chances go begging.

Francis went close before the break after a scramble from a corner, but it was Danquah who found the equaliser ten minutes into the second period.

Mark Doninger was fouled in the area and Danquah saw his first penalty saved only for the referee to penalise keeper Michael McEntagart for encroaching and order a re-take.

Danquah made no mistake second time around and got his first goal of the season.

But the visitors were ahead on 67 minutes, substitute Kieran Agard forcing his way into the United penalty before shooting home.

And the scoring was complete with ten minutes left on the clock, Baxter nodding his second after Codling had flicked on Agard's right-wing centre.

Agard this time turned provider and his right wing cross was helped on by Codling for Baxter to register his second of the afternoon with a firm header.
