NEWCASTLE United Juniors kept up their 100% start to the New Year with an emphatic 6-0 thumping of Barnsley.
James Marwood, Frank Wiafe Danquah and Jonny Godsmark grabbed two goals a piece in the first-half to complete the double over the bottom-placed Tykes.
It was winger Marwood who kicked things off after just 24 seconds as he converted Godsmark's delivery from close range.
Godsmark (4) then got a goal of his own with a shot from a narrow angle after Shane Ferguson's deflected effort had fallen at his feet.
And the Guide-Post born starlet got his second on 17 minutes as his strike from the left of the penalty area found its way into the net via Barnsley keeper Danny Free.

Danquah then lashed home from 18 yards to make it four before Godsmark cut through the visitors defence and teed-up Marwood for a fantastic chipped finish for the fifth.
And the scoring was complete on the stroke of half-time when Danquah got his second after being played in by Marwood.
