NEWCASTLE United youngster Ben Tozer marked his first season in a black and white shirt by lifting the Northumberland Senior Cup following Wednesday's penalty shootout victory over Blyth Spartans at St.James' Park.

The Plymouth-born defender only signed from Swindon Town in January but has already made enough of an impression to be handed the second-string armband by coach Adam Sadler.
