HR Administrator

Newcastle United requires an HR Administrator to join us within the catering division of the department.

The successful candidate will perform a wide range of generalist duties including:

  • recruitment and selection
  • staff retention
  • performance and absence management
  • disciplinary and grievance
  • employee relations
  • organising inductions and training
  • maintain and update personnel records
  • general administration duties

You should be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of all of the above and be aware of current Employment legislation and key HR issues and be able to demonstrate your ability to respond to enquiries from both staff and Management.

This position involves working home matchdays.

Qualified to CPP level or equivalent and be fully computer literate. You should have one or two years experience working in a busy HR office environment. You must be organised and be able to manage a demanding workload, often working on several tasks simultaneously.

Semi-skilled Grounds Person

Newcastle United requires a Semi-skilled Grounds Person to join us within the Facilities Management Department.

The successful candidate will perform a wide range of duties including:

· Maintaining all playing surfaces to extremely high standards, including cutting, fertilising, seeding as well as other grounds care maintenance duties

· Cleaning and maintaining machinery and tools

You will be required to work between St. James' Park, Newcastle United Training Ground and the Newcastle United Academy. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm from April to September and Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm from October to March.

You should be qualified to NVQ Level 1 in horticulture, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline. Preferably you will have two or more years experience working in a similar environment. You must be organised and able to manage a demanding workload.

This position involves working home match days.
