NUFC Appoints New Deputy Chairman
NEWCASTLE United Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Derek Llambias as Deputy Chairman.
The arrival of Mr Llambias, who is an existing box holder at St. James' Park, will further strengthen the boardroom.
Mr Llambias has worked in the entertainment and leisure industry for more than 30 years, most recently as Managing Director of the prestigious and exclusive Fifty Club at 50 St James, London. He has also known Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley for many years.
Chairman Chris Mort said: "We are very pleased to welcome Derek on to the board of Newcastle United.
"Derek's experience in the hospitality industry will certainly complement the work already being done by the Club to realise its full potential."
Mr Llambias said: "I'm delighted to be appointed to the board of Newcastle United.
"I think it is a fantastic football club and I'm looking forward to working with everyone to build the future of the Club."
