STEVE Harper insists that Newcastle United will be giving it their all at Everton this weekend in thanks to a travelling Toon Army who have again taken their full ticket allocation for the Merseyside trip.

The Geordies have filled the away end at almost every stadium they visited this season and, despite securing their top flight status almost three weeks ago, wasted no time in snapping up every last seat for Sunday's season finale at Goodison Park.

And that is why Toon stopper insists that the Magpies owe to those fans to go all out for the win against David Moyes' Toffees.

"It's a big game for Everton because they only need a point for UEFA Cup football," Harps told Newcastle World TV.

"We're going there knowing that we are safe but also knowing that it would be fantastic to finish with a win going into the summer.

"There'll be thousands of Geordies there and we'll be giving it our all so that hopefully we can send them home happy ahead of next season.

"We showed against Chelsea how much improvement there has been under Kevin, and if we can find a performance like the first-half in that game then we'll have a good chance of getting a result."
