NEWCASTLE United skipper Michael Owen has been included in Fabio Capello's England squad for the forthcoming summer friendly matches.

The Three Lions face USA at Wembley on May 28 before travelling to Trinidad & Tobago on June 1.

Owen, with 40 international goals, is currently nine short of Sir Bobby Charlton's scoring record.

Also included in the 31-man squad are former Magpies and Spurs team-mates Jermaine Jenas and Jonathan Woodgate.
