PETER Ramage will become the 14th player to have represented both Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers since 1970 when he makes his debut for the Loftus Road club next season.

The 24-year-old, who has penned a three-year deal with the Hoops, appeared 69 times in a black and white shirt having made his Magpie bow during the UEFA Cup victory over Olympiacos back in March, 2005.

But, as Rammy told nufc.co.uk earlier this week, the lure of guaranteed first-team football was too hard to turn down and he will follow a long line of former United players who have also plied their trade with the West London side.
