SIR Bobby Robson was satisfied to take a point from Sunday's Premiership opener with Leeds at Elland Road.
Alan Shearer fired The Magpies in front from the spot on 19 minutes after Kieron Dyer was brought down by Radebe, but after Mark Viduka and Alan
Smith turned the game on it's head, it was left to the skipper to secure a point with an 88th minute leveller.
"It was a fluctuating game, but it was always going to be a tough match for us," said Sir Bobby.
"People looked at our record here with three wins in the last three visits, but it was never going to be easy and we saw that today.
"I felt it was a good game, very entertaining for the fans. I'm satisfied with a point, though disappointed not to take all three in a way.
"Had you offered me a point with five minutes left when we were 2-1 down, I'd have taken it. But once we scored the equaliser I thought we finished strongly and they wanted the whistle to come before we did."
