SHAY Given is looking forward to a busy week after Saturday's frustrating goalless draw with Bolton at St. James' Park.

The 0-0 draw stretched United's run of league games without a win to five, but with NAC Breda coming to St. James' on Wednesday in the UEFA Cup and then a tricky trip to Arsenal following just 48 hours later, Given is hoping United can get a change of luck over the next few days.

"When things aren't going your way you want to play against straight away, and we've certainly got a busy week ahead of us to get things going," said Given.

"We were frustrated on Saturday because Bolton came here with a plan similar to Birmingham's in the last home game. They got a lot of men behind the ball and made it tough for us.

"They came for a point, and you have to give them credit because they stuck to their game plan.

"But I think there were a few positives to come from the game. We defended well and it was good to keep the clean sheet, but to be hoenst I'd have settled for a 5-4 win.

"I also felt we created a bit more but we just didn't get the breaks in the box. Sometimes you get the breaks, but we hit the bar a couple of times and all in all things didn't really go for us.

"We know the situation we are in isn't good and we understand the frustration of the fans, but we'll kepe plugging away until we get things right and with the games coming up against Breda and then Arsenal we've got a chance to pick ourselves up."
