7. How do I unsubscribe from the SMS service?
You can unsubscribe from this service at any time should you wish to do so. You need to send a text message to 88442 with the words 'CLUB' then a space then your club's abbreviation and then the package you choose so either 'AWAY' 'GOLD' or 'SILVER' and the word 'OFF'.
So for example if you are subscribed to Newcastle's Gold service you would send the following text:
CLUB NEWC GOLD OFF
to 88442
This will automatically unsubscribe you from the service.
If you are an existing credit card subscriber and you wish to unsubscribe then please click here to send us an email and a member of our customer services team will unsubscribe you immediately.
8. Reward scheme
Should you purchase a ticket by debit or credit card then the Club will include your card number in the Club's future reward programme unless you tick the appropriate box to opt out of the scheme in your personal details section in your online account. Should you not do this at this time then you may in the future remove your card number from the scheme at any time by either updating your details in your online account or by telephoning us on 0191 201 8400. Please note that you should only ever quote the last 4 digits of your card number in any email correspondence.
Additional terms and conditions that relate to the purchase of tickets for the Rod Stewart concert only:
1. Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned unless the event is cancelled, moved to another date, or if details of the event are significantly changed after an order is placed (significant changes being a change of headline act or venue).
2. In the event of the cancellation of the event Newcastle United will only refund the face value of the ticket. Please note, however, it is the customer's responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue.
3. If the event is moved from its advertised venue and/or the date is changed, tickets already purchased may remain valid should the customer wish to attend the revised event. If not, Newcastle United will refund the face value of the tickets only.
4. Should the headline artist not appear then Newcastle United will refund the face value of the tickets only.
5. No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets.
6. Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt.
7. Newcastle United would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, declining to be searched, being (or appearing to be) abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.
8. If it becomes impractical to post tickets out, due to the proximity of the event or circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to make tickets available for collection at the venue immediately prior to the event. Customers will be notified if this becomes necessary.
9. Once purchased, tickets must not be resold under any circumstances. Any resale or attempt to resell the tickets is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation.
10. In the event that the show or event is filmed or recorded buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience. If you have any objection, should this happen when you attend the show or event, please contact the Venue Management.
11. The unauthorised use of camera, video camera or any other sort of recording is strictly forbidden.
12. Tickets will be delivered no later than 72hrs before the event.
